The Moultonborough Suicide Prevention and Mental Health Coalition is a group of local residents and area professionals uniting to prevent suicide and promote mental health here in our part of Central New Hampshire. We came into being early in 2007 when several of our residents became alarmed at the number of suicides in our community. Over the past two years the coalition has been able to provide support groups for survivors, educational forums on suicide and depression, training opportunities for our town employees. We have disseminated educational literature on mental health topics throughout the Town and attempted to recognize and connect those in need with the services that could help.
Please join us! We meet monthly at the Town library.
