There will be a balloon test for the proposed new cell tower to be located on Governor Wentworth Highway, Tax Map 150, Lots 5 & 6, on Saturday, October 5, 2024, between the hours of 8:00 AM and 1 PM at the height of 120 feet. In the event of poor visibility, adverse weather, or inability to keep the balloon aloft, the test will be conducted on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, between the hours of 8:00 AM and 1 PM.
Anyone wishing to comment on the impact of the test is invited to attend the Zoning Board of Adjustment meeting on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at 7 pm at the Moultonborough Town Hall, 6 Holland Street. If you wish to offer comments to the Zoning Board, it would be helpful to take a photograph during the balloon test to illustrate your concerns regarding visual impacts. Comments and photos for the Zoning Board may also be emailed to Dari Sassan, Town Planner, at dsassan@moultonboroughnh.gov.
A copy of the application materials is available for public inspection at the Land Use Department during regular business hours.
