Congratulations to Ken – NH Recycles’ 2025 Recycler of the Year!

We are thrilled to announce that Ken Filpula has been selected as NH Recycles’ 2025 Recycler of the Year! This prestigious lifetime achievement award recognizes individuals who demonstrate outstanding commitment, leadership, and enthusiasm in creating and maintaining environmentally and financially sound solid waste management programs.

Through his work at the Moultonborough Transfer Station, Ken has consistently improved operations for both staff and residents, supported fellow facility operators across the state, and educating the next generation about recycling and waste management. In addition to his professional contributions, Ken serves as a valued volunteer on the NH Recycles board of trustees.

This honor reflects not only Ken’s exceptional dedication but also the positive experiences residents have at the Transfer Station, thanks to him and his hardworking team. Congratulations Ken – this recognition is truly well-deserved!
