Moultonborough Names New Town Planner
Moultonborough, NH – Ms. Angela Bovill, Moultonborough Town Administrator, announces the appointment of Mr. Charles “Chuck” Wise as the next Town Planner.
Mr. Wise has eleven (11) years of experience in municipal planning in Springfield, Rockingham, and Weathersfield, VT, and ten (10) years as a Transportation Planner.
Mr. Wise demonstrates a strong commitment to public service. Having worked in rural communities in Vermont and in the City of Dover, NH, the hiring board believed his extensive knowledge and experience would be a tremendous asset to Moultonborough. His background includes management of planning and zoning departments, updating town plans and land‑use regulations, policy development, and grant management and compliance—just a few of the skills he will leverage in his new role.
Additional qualifications that will benefit the Town of Moultonborough moving forward include:
• AICP certification
• Professional certification in community and regional planning
• Graduate‑level coursework in public administration and budgeting
• M.A. in Geography and Planning
• B.A. in Geography and Planning
