Last Day to Change Party Affiliation Before Presidential Primary

When voting in any Primary election, voters who have a party declared (Democrat or Republican) can only receive the ballot for their declared party. Voters who are “Undeclared,” may choose either ballot on election day.

Moultonborough voters can check their party affiliation online through the Secretary of State’s website, on the Voter Checklist in the lobby of Town Hall, or by contacting the Town Clerk’s office.

If you would like to change your party affiliation, you may do so in the Town Clerk’s office Monday – Friday between 7:30 am and 4 pm or at a meeting of the Supervisors of the Checklist. Please bring a government-issued photo ID. The next meeting of the Supervisors of the Checklist will take place on Tuesday, September 19th from 10-10:30 am at Town Hall.

The last day for voters to change party affiliation prior to the Presidential Primary will be Friday, October 6th.
