Alarm permits are required when an alarm system (fire, medical, intrusion) is installed. They can be obtained from the Fire Department and the Police Department. A blank permit form which can be filled out ahead of time can be found on our department page on the Town website.
A Supra key box, a key safe box, is required if you have an alarm system which was installed after 2003. A Supra key box is accessible only by the fire and police personnel and enables entry into the home in order to check the cause of the alarm. Contact the Fire Department to schedule an installation, the boxes cost $99.00. We can be reached at 476-5658.
