Dog Licenses and Boat Registrations Available for 2022

Renew early to avoid lines! Dog licenses and boat registrations (new and renewals) are now available for the 2022 season.

DOG LICENSES – DUE APRIL 30, 2022 per RSA 466:1

We will need a rabies certificate if your dog has received a rabies vaccine in the past year or if this is a first-time license. You can pay any of the following ways:

  • In person. Bring your payment and rabies certificate (if applicable) during our normal business hours, listed below.
  • Online. Visit MoultonboroughNH.gov then look for “Online Payments” then “Town Clerk Payments” and follow the prompts. We will mail your license.
  • Through the mail. Send a check made out to Town of Moultonborough with a self-addressed, stamped return envelope, a note so we know who the check is for, and a phone number in case we have questions.
  • Through our secure payment drop box just to the left of the front door. Inside an envelope marked “Town Clerk” you can put cash or a check made out to Town of Moultonborough. Please also include a self-addressed, stamped return envelope, a note so we know who the payment is for, and a phone number in case we have any questions.

The fee is $7.50 for a spayed/neutered dog, $10 for an unaltered dog, and $3.00 for the first dog registered to an owner over 65 years. Group rates are available for households with five or more dogs.

BOATS

Renewals – We will need:

  • Renewal letter from the state signed by the primary owner OR a completed Boat Registration Application.
  • Payment. Renewals processed in any town or marina will be $5 more than the amount on your letter from the state. Checks need to be made out to Town of Moultonborough if being processed here.
  • Driver’s license of the person doing the registration (if done in person).

New Registrations – We will need:

We accept cash and checks made out to Town of Moultonborough. If you’re paying in-person, we also accept credit cards (a 3% fee is added by your credit card company for all card transactions). If you’re paying by mail or the drop box, please include a self-addressed, stamped return envelope and a contact number in case we have any questions.
