Boat Registration Information

For Renewals

Follow the instructions on the renewal letter you received this winter and mail your payment in to the state. For an additional $5 per boat, you can renew your boats in the Town Clerk's Office or at an authorized boat agent location. The benefits to paying with the town instead of the state? You can walk away with your new registration and decals, and part of the registration fees stay in the town to help keep our taxes low.

For New Registrations

You will need to provide the following to the Town Clerk:

• Completed Boat Registration Application (PDF), signed by all owners
• Bill of Sale
• Your driver's license or other government issued photo ID
• Payment - we accept cash, check, or credit/debit cards (with a 3% convenience fee)
